Dr. Lemaine is board-certified and a diplomate of both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. She is University of Montreal Medical School-instructed and plastic surgery-trained. Her impeccable credentials also include reconstructive microsurgery and clinical research fellowships at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, as well as a Master of Public Health at Columbia University.
An accomplished plastic surgeon, Dr. Lemaine began her career in 2010 at the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where she expanded the breast reconstruction program. Dr. Lemaine joined Plastic Surgery Consultants in 2018. Her special interests are cosmetic surgery of the face, breasts and body, reconstructive surgery for breast cancer, skin cancer, gynecologic cancer, and gender affirmation surgery.
Dr. Lemaine has been awarded “Top Doctor” and “Best Doctor for Women” by Minnesota Monthly magazine every year since 2014. A sought-after speaker, she is a nationally and internationally invited lecturer in plastic surgery and breast reconstruction topics, and has authored numerous plastic surgery peer-reviewed publications and book chapters.

Outside the practice, Dr. Lemaine continues to pursue her interests with purpose and passion. She is a dedicated student of yoga and fitness. A true artist at heart, Dr. Lemaine is an accomplished pianist and an art lover. She is a trustee and active supporter of the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.
